A little about us…
- The U.S. Department of Energy awarded us a $10 million grant in 2010. We are one of 41 programs in the nation that are a part of the Better Buildings Neighborhood Program
- The City of Omaha is managing the grant and we are partnering with the City of Lincoln to meet our goal of 2,100 homes by May 2013
- We have participant navigators in both Omaha and Lincoln and additional staff members in both cities
- We also have a team of local experts for technical support and dozens of community partners in Omaha and Lincoln

- Market Transformation - Creating local green jobs while providing healthy competition and greater access to energy saving materials.
- Developing More Quality Energy Professionals - We have partnered with local educational institutions to provide nationally proven curriculum that promotes customized solutions in your home.
- Striving to Increase home energy efficiency by 25% while creating healthier environments to live and play- Project work must meet a minimum of 15% annual energy savings, that means great savings for you and a more comfortable and safe home. It's also a form of environmental and resource stewardship.
